Empowering Youth Through Vocational Skills Training
Many young people face challenges in accessing formal education and employment opportunities. Vocational skills training has emerged as a powerful tool for empowering these youth and helping them build sustainable livelihoods.

Through our vocational skills training program, we have trained over 500 young people in various skills including carpentry, tailoring, and computer literacy. These skills have enabled them to either secure employment or start their own businesses.

One success story is James, a 22-year-old who completed our carpentry training program last year. Today, he runs a small carpentry workshop where he makes furniture for local schools and homes. He has even employed two other young people from his community.

Vocational skills training not only provides technical skills but also builds confidence and entrepreneurial mindset among young people. It shows them that they can create opportunities for themselves rather than waiting for formal employment.

As we continue to expand our vocational training programs, we are focusing on market-relevant skills and creating linkages with potential employers and markets for youth-led businesses.
