Youth Leadership: Voices for Change

Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are also the leaders of today. At YEFOSR, we believe in the power of youth leadership and the important role that young people can play in driving positive change in their communities.
Our youth leadership program focuses on building the capacity of young people to participate in decision-making processes, advocate for their rights, and contribute to community development initiatives.
Through leadership training workshops, we have equipped over 100 student and community youth leaders with skills in communication, advocacy, project management, and conflict resolution. These young leaders are now actively involved in various initiatives in their schools and communities.
We also facilitate youth-led advocacy campaigns on issues that affect young people, such as education, health, and employment. These campaigns have helped raise awareness and influence policies and programs at the local level.
One of our success stories is the formation of a youth advisory council that provides input to local government on youth-related policies and programs. This has ensured that youth perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.
As we continue to promote youth leadership, we are focusing on creating more platforms for youth participation and building networks between youth leaders and key stakeholders in government, civil society, and the private sector.
